In Baby News...

On my last post, bruddah soogs sent over this touching video that I just had to share with y'all. It's such an ingenious idea! So much so that I actually stole borrowed the idea! I created my daughter her very own, custom email address and just got done sending her my very first email. Damn thing made me a tad misty. What's wrong with me these days? Haha! Anyway, enjoy. Hopefully, you new faddahs (and maddahs) enjoy it as much as I did too!

    the dear sophie ad is one of the greatest ads i've seen. who wouldn't want to start using google chrome after that? i wish i had seen that when my two kiddo's were born. i imagine i woulda been saying "awww..." a lot and getting misty too. but i figure too late for me to do it now. i would only be sending scolding kine emails to the little buggahs. "this is when you wrote with crayons all over the bedroom carpet and daddy had to spend hours finding the right cleaner to clean it up... grrrrr!!!" or they'd have a lot of videos of them fighting. i can see the caption now, "you know that displaced knuckle on your hand that you thought you were born with? well check out this video and you'll see the real reason why your hand is deformed. btw, your sister won that round."

    omg a genki photo!!!

    photo 1 - looks like the small eating area on beretania street where tai sei ramen is across the police station
    photo 2 - genkers! gonna guess it's kapahulu since that's the OG genks right? i see scalop mayo, abalone (does spelling count?), oysters, spicy tuna, and ikageso? fav is the abalone? my fav is anything spicy usually, but i like garlic salmon! YUMMERS... sometimes the garlic ahi is CHEWY and it's hit or miss. i'm going to guess 7:20 pm.
    photo 3 - looks like by dole canery, but idk why, the street in the background reminds me of it although i don't remember a mcd's being there. of course it could be mililani and i wouldn't know, lol.

    hey ed, i know this is totally off topic but should oceanic be blasting the airwaves touting the intelligo as an alternative to the new tiered data plans that any new at&t and now verizon smartphone users will be faced with? It should work with phones that have wifi right? $50/month for 5gb of data on verizon or $50/month for unlimited with the intelligo. that should entice some people. just gotta get used to carrying around that little black box. now if only they could make a tiny version that would fit onto any phone...

    On a side note, Blockbuster Video will be closing three of its Oahu locations this week - they are all on Kamehameha Highway. One in Kaneohe, one in Pearl City and one in Kalihi (Kamehameha Shopping Center).
