Missed Sunday's (yeah Sunday's!) new episode of Five-0, but that won't stop me from posting so you can get your #H50 chat on in the comment area below! *grin* Enjoy!
"Five-0 struggles to stay a step ahead of a major tsunami that has the island evacuating its shores as they investigate the disappearance of the head of the Tsunami Warning Center."

The gratuitous shot of a scantily clad Kono and Danno on the beach bettah garner at least a few comments!
January 25th, 2011 at 7:26 am
BTW, is it just me or are the show's producers setting up a budding romance between these two?
January 25th, 2011 at 9:11 am
Howzit Ed,
I think this episode was too predictable. I was telling masako from the start of the program what was going to happen before it happened thoughout the whole show till the very end.
January 25th, 2011 at 9:56 am
I missed the beginning, those beach shots don't ring a bell. How did the $10 mill get put back in the evidence room.
January 25th, 2011 at 10:06 am
Well, at the beginning of that special time-slotted 5-0 episode, we were treated to the beach version of our (yes, OUR) most favorite (and only) The Goddess Grace Park. I think that Caan actor was in the same scene, but, I really can't verify. Was too busy contemplating and concentrating on the the beach version of our (yes, OUR) most favorite (and only) The Goddess Grace Park.
So, I should just stop here when it comes to Hawaii Five-0: Kai E`e #H50.
But, I will continue. Let's go:
It's not the size of it, but, how you use it/That last scene made a Grease realize. The plot thickens. Here a Grease was figuring that what would be cut and dried would be a Wo Fat's mere reference to a "borrowed-but-burned-up-in-Waipahu-hidden-HPD-millions-fund-in-order-to-save-a Chinn Ho's-neck-(and other assorted body parts)-from-being-exploded" in order to begin a demise of 5-0/mostly McGarret, but, whoa? WaHOOAAA???!!! The 5-0-borrowed ten mill' okane hat been replaced somehows?! Who could it be, hmmmm. Well, Danno's ex' is loaded, plausible could be her, I mean, she went so far as to crash her BM'er into the front of criminal marathon runners' borrowed house, in one episode no? But, nahhhhh, she dunno about the 5-0 stolen borrowed funds. So, I dunno. Cannot be the gov's doing because, see, she saw McGarret in private and simply congratulated him and 5-0 crew on good job. Yep, che, 5-0 is seemingly in the clear with the burned-up-$10 mill'-in-Waipahu seemingly replaced.
Nutty, though. Wonder what the haps. Who stay doing d'is? See? Size of land mass no matter. It's what kind criminal acts happen li'dat, no?
Now Coast Guard corrupt? Whoa, part II. This show going after ALL kind potentiality-of-situated-near-large-bodies-of-water-law enforcement types. Writers for this show must've received one too many parking or jaywalking tickets or something. And what is quickly becoming a 5-0 trend is the show presenting some GREAT guest/character actors that the Grease thinks is cool, one found in the corrupt Coast Guard official played by Brian Goodman whose Donovan Stubbin character from ABC's really terrific-but-sadly-low-ratings'd. Line of Fire. Man, his mob tough guy character might've put a scare into the Sopranos he was so evil, heh.
Remember Grease's prevoius 5-0 post? When a Grease mentioned he saw those sandbags in front of the state office where you get your state I.D.? If a Grease KNEW at least one o' those san'byags wuz fulla mahney? To borrow from Paulie G from The Godfather, "Madon', if that was real money an' I styopped ta' do my own stabbings into d'a bag ta' help myself, 'sofrtunato!"
Computer-generated tsunami. Yes. Epic fail, computer. Let's listen to our purveyors of the sea in tandem with all these technologicals and electricks communications when it comes to tsunami and other assorted sea threats, is another lesson Hawaii Five-0: Kai E`e gives us. Majello.
Lastly . . . 'NOUGH WITH THE KIDNAPPING PLOTS ALREADIES. Hawaii Five-0: Kai E`e presented us with, what, kidnapping # 78 with this episode? I mean, c'mons, 'nough already, 5-0 creators with the kidnappings. # 1 d'is one island. Weekly APEC-class riots more likely on Oahu (whoops!
). I dunno when I read or heard about the last island-based kidnapping on Oahu. You know? # 2 . . . well, ne'er mind. 'Nough kidnappings alreadies, heh.
Wait, one more t'ing. Post-game 5-0 episode was good going for <b.Steeler nation! [!]
. Take THAT you loudmouth Jets, go massage your fe . . . well, at least the coach has plenny time to do so, now
.

I must answer this question of Ed's:
Answer: no.
Jets have better chance of being in the upcoming Superbowl 'fore this "budding romance" happen. [!]

... hey Ed ... you call that gratuitous??? ... hrrmpfff ... Kono's head and neck shot?!! ... Danno's back?!! ... I don't think that's the "back"side the girls wanna see ... and c'mon, you can crop the pic a little lower, huh??? ... for a little more hint of Kono's beauty!!! ...
... but I digress ...
... Sunday nights show was nice ... not a slam dunk ... but entertaining nonetheless ... as Grease mentioned, I like the continuation of the $10,000,000.00 storyline ... got me wondering ... ??? ...
... and luv the BEEG guy ... what's his name??? ... da Santa guy ... I like his character on the show ... gives the show a nice local touch ... and way better than the other local wannabe's they feature on the show ...
... the plotline was kinda weak compared to recent shows ... but I guess they forced it due to the special showing ... so that's ok ...
... there's always Kono ... you know what I mean??? ... cuz!!! ...
... Have a Good One Everyone!!! ...

I have a question. If this show is so cheesy and obviously not real, why do you people like it so much?? Not hating, but just curious.
January 25th, 2011 at 3:52 pm
effenprincess, for me it's mainly just curiousity. I try and watch most of the shows filmed in Hawaii to see if I like it or not. Some shows catch my interest and some don't. I remember watching a show with Brian Keith in it (but I can't remember the title), "Oh Heavenly Road" (a Northern Exposure copycat based in Kona that I liked but got canceled after 4 episodes), "Lost" (which lost my attention after one year) and another cop show about 5 years ago ( I can't remember the name but it had 2 male leads and oriental female cop ). I must be getting old because I can't remember the names of shows.

OH ED scantily clad Kono giving birth in the middle of nowhere that will get my attention.....
.yes I miss the show too busy..I can't remember what I did.
January 25th, 2011 at 4:36 pm
oh so I have to take notes watching the show!
January 25th, 2011 at 4:41 pm
drat I look at the show Hawaii Five-0 all of them actors younger than me..oh drat...I slept my whole life! ... I am watching Hot for Cleveland!
January 25th, 2011 at 5:03 pm
Sorry effenprincess.
Maybe a Grease shouldn't post on 5-0 topic anymore.
.
January 25th, 2011 at 5:15 pm
I know it is cheesy and often predictable, but it is fun to watch. Plus the occasional eye candy does not hurt.
January 25th, 2011 at 7:52 pm
I miss Hawaii so much when I watch the show
January 25th, 2011 at 10:17 pm
... haha ... I think you could have left out the "cheesy and obviously not real" part in asking why people like the show so much ... that alone kinda makes me feel like you're hatin' on the show even if you say you're not ...
... and so I take it that you probably don't see any merit in the show, huh? ... to justify why people like it so much ...
... reactions to the show are strange ... some of my friends don't like the show either ... but they still watch ... go figure ...
January 25th, 2011 at 10:22 pm
@Chicken Grease:
... ha! ... I think you'll disappoint Ed if you stop posting ...
... anyway, we all probably have somewhat different opinions of the show ... I think it's good that we can express what we like and don't like about the show ...
January 25th, 2011 at 11:00 pm
Mmmmmm. :p. OK, a Grease will continue posting on 5-0, then.
. Thank you. Hi there rayboy, jr!
Holy . . . is that Scott from way back? We miss you too! Come on back to Hawaii li'l bit, we are all still here, and weather and surf, too.
Good night everboty. [falls asleep]
January 26th, 2011 at 7:38 am
I called the empty truck. Hehe, das about it.
That's the big question cheche. Dun dun DUN!!
Bahahahahahaha!
Oooooh, you went dea ah Ceeg!? Hehe!
LOLOLOL! I had a full screen one, but wasn't sure how the actors (if they ever miraculously stumble upon this blog) would feel. See, I have feelings.
And yeah, I like "Taylor Wily" too! He cracks me up. Did you know he fought in UFC 1??? That's a blog post in itself!
Don't think I called it cheesy or obvious, but I like it cause it's something Hawaii. It brings money into our state and tries hard (albeit not always accurate) to represent our 808.
Yeah, Lost lost my attention after a year, but Five-0 still has mine so far. I think cause it's less science fiction and you can actually recogmatize things in it.
Bahahaha! What the? Where'd that come from. I think any woman giving birth in the middle of nowhere will get anyone's attention. Ahahaha!
Nah, no worries Ceeg. Dis be one open forum, ohana style. Dat's da beauty of it. Anyone can speak their mind. I know effen IRL. She's cool...
True true...
Come back Scotty2Hotty!
Ho, long time ah!?
I think no mattah what, I goin' watch the show. Gotta be prepared when they call me for my role as a super duper extra.
LOLOL! Now, if only I can get him to split his comments into like 10 at a time.
Auriiiite!
January 26th, 2011 at 10:06 am
sorry, any show that shows a woman giving birth is losing my attention rather quickly! lol.
i don't watch 5-0 much but i don't mind watching it if it's on. i watch it for entertainment, not for reality, like other shows on tv. but, then we get into fake "reality" shows... lol... i don't mind watching those either!
