  24. tita leerz:

    Gyotaku

  25. tita leerz:

    Yanagi

  26. tita leerz:

    I would also like to say Tsuruya but they don't have sashimi.

  27. tita leerz:

    But the countertop looks like Tsuruya.

  28. tita leerz:

    Maybe it's not Kunio. Most of that would've been in a bento box.

    :D :D :D Good Morning Everyone!!! :D :D :D

    ... whoa, Ed ... I missed you!! ... well, not you, the blog ... oh, well, ok I missed you too, of course ... but in the most (*in deep voice*) masculine guy way!!! ... :D ... not that there's anything wrong with guy love ... but, oh frick!!! ... I'm digressing so badly ... just typing as I'm thinking and ... what the heck was this blog about now??? ... :roll:

    ... ok start again ... I just meant to say that I nevah know you had the new blog up again ... geez, was that so hard??? ... I should go back and edit out everything I said before but I just going leave em on ... :D

    ... anyway, I've only eaten out at one Japanese restaurant recently ... and it was at Hinone Mizunone on King Street ... so that's my obligatory guess ...

  51. NeedaHobby:

    Congrats to Maki Sushi! Hey, was that your first win ;)

    @Ed - that was a good one. No one got it until the 21st try ;) And, trade? I'm on a 2-game losing streak :( We tied now, I think...

  52. MakiSushi:

    Thanks WWE, snow, and NeedaHobby! Yup my first ever; I'm honored to join the ranks of the Da "Where in Hawaii" Winnahz Circle! YESSSS!! Props to soogs for spotting me and to EMM386 for the 411 on maguroya/yohei.

    Folks, give Yohei a try, excellent sushi, seafood specialties. The place is very busy so reservations are a must. Tiny place, you going be rubbing elbows with patrons next to you but people come from all over to eat here, across the canal from the old GEMS in Kapalama. Try'em! No, I don't work there. :smile:

  53. MakiSushi:

    Ed, da Phillies are hot!! You brought them luck! Good luck to Shane and da boys in the World Serious! The Angels still have a pulse but on the brink of winter vacation.

  54. World Wide Ed:

    * 50.snow:

    * 51.NeedaHobby:
    @Ed - that was a good one. No one got it until the 21st try

    I know yeah Hobbz? I was in total shock! Usually pau by 2nd guess...
