What Attracts You to the Opposite Sex?

In yesterday's Seven Things Meme post, rayboyjr shared something interesting about himself:
A woman’s eyes are what I notice first and is the most impressionable feature on a woman. At least to me. A nice smile and a bat of the eye will get me all the time!
That got me to thinkin' (yeah, rare moment). We're all attracted to different things in the opposite sex. Some like physical attributes like legs or arms, and others are drawn to personality traits like confidence or sense of humor.
Me? Now that I'm married, I don't look anymore 
but if I were single and still looking, I'd say I'm a sucker for a smile and warm/kind heart (thoughtfulness).

Well, since I'm still up I might as well answer this one...
I think as far as looks go, I'd probably notice a guy's eyes and/or smile first. As far as personality, you can't go wrong with a good sense of humor.

I see the eyes first then the smile followed by their loving, caring personality.
From afar, I see other things first

Like rbj, eyes and the smile . . . Plus, the voice. There's just something about a sweet, tender voice. Imagine someone with a potty mouth . . . But if she has a sweet, tender voice, would it still sound potty mouth - hmmmm, I don't think so . . .

Good morning. Ho Ed - aren't you a newlywed? You goin' get yourself and us (with spouses) in trouble!
Oh well, here goes anyway. Like others already mentioned, I like nice eyes and a nice smile. And, I'm a sucker for dimples! 
I also like a good sense of humor!

How a woman takes care of her body tells me much of what I need to know about her. Some things she is born with, but it's the controllable assets that I look at. Weight, trimness, style of hair, those things that she can keep up are what I notice first.

hmmm, ok truth, yeah? ok.. in order.. da laundry list..
ok so general body shape first, am slim so she s/b, too..
kay den, face man, da smile, eyes, and hair are key..
a big enthusiastic smile is wildly attractive.. oh and a big laugh to go with, esp. at my dumb jokes..
kay, past all dat, den down to da short strokes.. so for me, the differentiator is t'ree t'ings, a clean fresh fragrance, like fresh from bath, not actually a scent..
beyond the physical, an interested conversationalist with open-minded, non-judg-mental style..educated helps, too..
and the final straw is how she keeps her nails.. first pref, nicely tapered and no polish, or clear, or translucent pink, or at most flat pink..
however, if she's more than 20 years younger then me, can close eyes to at least two of the above.. esp. the nails.. unless she pops gum, too..
the real, real truth, anything in a skirt that moves, smiles, and ken make a sequential sentence..

Wow ... kinda like having my name up in lights ... ok, not really, but cool anyway!
I want to add that of course I also notice other sometimes more prominent physical "attributes". We all do. But I think most agree that the eyes are what draw us in ... captivating and intriguing as no other physical feature can!

hmmmm . . . this is a good one! and at least you didn't limit our answers
so what first catches my attention is the guy's height and GUNS!! LOL . . . not like super huge kine arms where they can't scratch their own backs or anything like that, just nice and defined - strong! then their smile, men need to smile more!
anyway, after i'm past the physical . . . i LOVE a good sense of humor, patience (to put up w/me!), and someone who's willing to try new things - especially food and travel!!

Ed, sorry dude, I would just want someone whose voice I would love to hear . . . Plus, when she gets bitchy or naggy (which I'm sure I'll deserve), it'll be that much easier to take. And when the potty mouth comes out I'll be chuckling inside.
As Brad Paisley sings in "little moments" - I'll never forget the first time that I heard, that pretty mouth say that dirty word . . .

swimmers...i've seen handsome swimmers...they got bod. but watching michael phelps reminded me of a turtle. swim fast but, for some reason, all them guys looked turtle shaped. :p not hating! just observing.
